About CodeCounsel
CodeCounsel is based on more than 25 years of experience as a commercial lawyer, active at the intersection of law, technology, and business. First as an attorney, and subsequently as an in-house lawyer and as General Counsel of fast-moving, international tech companies, I’ve been involved in all aspects of building successful companies: as an in-house commercial lawyer closing the smallest to the most complex deals, and as a member of management committees building and leading international teams, making strategic decisions and turning complex legal challenges into actionable solutions driving the business forward.
After 25 years inside some of the world’s most demanding corporate environments, I decided to bring that expertise directly to the companies that need it most, but rarely have access to it. Start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs face the same legal challenges as Fortune 500 companies, but without the legal infrastructure to deal with them. That’s the gap CodeCounsel is here to fill.
My approach is straightforward: I always start from your business goals, not from the rulebook. No theory, no stalling, no can’t-do or ‘it has to be this way’ approach, but practical, actionable solutions within a regulatory framework.
Whether it’s drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, building a framework of General Terms of Sale, navigating SaaS or licensing agreements, managing IP, GDPR or AI compliance, CodeCounsel provides senior-level legal thinking that closes deals and moves businesses forward.
